China’s crude stainless steel expected to exceed 25 million tons by 2020

It's reported that China's crude stainless steel output is expected to exceed 25 million tons and the country's apparent consumption of crude stainless steel may exceed 20 million tons by 2020, according to Mr. Li Cheng, the honorary chairman of the stainless steel branch of the China Special Steel Enterprises Association.

He added that China's stainless steel industry will be supported by the government's positive policies and increased investment in the country's infrastructure.

Mr. Li explain that China's fixed-asset investments in railway construction during 2011 and 2015 will be at around RMB3.3 trillion.
